Scott Bomar is a Memphis, TN based composer, producer and musician. Credits include the films Hustle & Flow, Black Snake Moan, Mississippi Grind, Soul Men and most recently the Netflix film, Dolemite is My Name!, staring Eddie Murphy. Record production and songwriting credits include Grammy winning and Grammy nominated projects from Cyndi Lauper, William Bell, Don Bryant, Cedric Burnside and Anthony Hamilton.

Bomar is also the bandleader and bassist for the Memphis soul band, The Bo-Keys and bassist in the instrumental group, Impala.
