Do you book bands for live performances at Central Station?

We book local bands for our “Live on the Tracks” patio music series. Please email inquire@centralstationmemphis.com with a sample of your music if you are interested in performing.

We do not book live performances within Eight & Sand. 

I’d like to be a guest DJ in Eight & Sand, who can I discuss this with?

Do you allow photo & video shoots at The Central Station Memphis

Yes, however all filming and photography requests must be approved by the Public Relations department and supervised by a hotel PR representative. This includes all public areas and guest rooms. Working media is advised to please contact the Public Relations Department in advance of their stay to require clearance of professional photo/video equipment via inquire@centralstationmemphis.com

Do you allow family photos or head shots to be done?

Yes, we do although this is also based on availability and other guest activity.  Please contact inquire@centralstationmemphis.com for availability.

Are there meeting facilities on-site at Central Station?

Yes, The Grand Hall is 6576 square feet and features 33 foot ceilings and the historic train station Arrival/Departure board. We have two boardrooms that can accommodate maximum of 10 guests in each boardroom.  If you would like additional information, please contact sales at inquire@centralstationmemphis.com 

What size groups can you accommodate?

We can accommodate any sized group from 2 guests to 500 depending on the set-up requirements, type of event that you are hosting, and specifications required.  

Can I bring in my own food and beverage to my meeting room?

In general we do not allow for outside Food & Beverage as we have a full catering department..  The only exception is the Wedding Cake at a Wedding Reception and/or specific food types required and/or made for personal or religious reasons. i.e. kosher

Do you offer Negotiated Room Rates for Corporate Accounts?

Yes, we do offer discounted room rates for businesses and would be pleased to discuss further based on number of rooms needed and frequency.  Please email inquire@centralstationmemphis.com for additional information.

How do I find Central Station?

We are located at the corners of G. E. Patterson Avenue and Main Street across from the historic Arcade Diner. To access the hotel parking, drive to Main Street and Carolina where you will see a 30Ft. monument sign. Turn at the monument sign and continue up the ramp to the parking lot next to the railroad tracks.

Does Central Station have gift certificates / gift cards?

Yes, we offer gift cards for Central Station and Eight & Sand. Please email us at inquire@centralstationmemphis.com.

Gift Cards for Bishop are available in the restaurant.

Is Central Station pet friendly?

Yes, we welcome your entire family including your pets.  Your $50 non-refundable deposit includes a welcome treat bag, use of water/food bowls and a bed if needed.

Who do I call for lost and found?

Please call our Guest Services Agents who will assist in locating your item with our housekeeping department. Lost and found items are kept for 30 days.

Does the hotel allow smoking on the premises?

No, we are a 100% smoke free hotel & environment including our Guestrooms, and outdoor patios. 

What is Check-in and Check-out time?

Our check-in time is 3PM and check-out is 12PM. We certainly will do our best to provide early check-in’s and late departure’s although this is based on availability and not guaranteed.  

May I store my luggage before check-in and after check-out?

Yes, we do have luggage storage available for guests prior to check-in and afterwards at no additional charge.

May I can pay extra for a late check-out or early check-in?

Yes, late check-out and early check-in is based on availability and fees may apply.   

Is there a cost for Wi-Fi?

No, we provide complimentary Wi-Fi for all of our guests.

Do you have a Business Center?

Yes, the business center is located just off the lobby. There is a computer and printer available 24/7.

What is cancellation policy?

Our Cancellation policy is 48 hours in advance prior to arrival unless specified differently on your Reservation.  

How can I modify my reservation?

Please call 901-524-5247 and speak with a guest service agent or if you are a Hilton Honors Member you can modify your room reservation online.  

Can I provide a different credit card at check-in than the one I used to make the Reservation?

Yes, you may change the form of payment at the time of check-in.  Also, you may change the form of payment at check-out.  

Will there be a hold placed on funds if I use a debit card for my stay?

Yes, we place a hold for the Room, Tax + $50.00 per day for incidental charges.  The hold could take 7 – 10 business days upon departure for the authorization to be returned to your bank/account so we encourage the use of credit vs. debit cards.

What is the minimum age for guests to stay at Central Station Memphis?

The minimum age for a guest to check-in to is 21 years old.  

Do Children stay free?

Yes, children do stay free up to age 17.  

Do you have a Fitness Center?

Yes, our Fitness Center is located on the 3rd Floor and is accessible 24-Hours with your room key.  Fitness Equipment includes Treadmills, Ellipticals, Yoga Mats, Rower, Bicycles, and Weightlifting Machine, Free Weights and bench, medicine balls, kettle bells.

Are there jogging paths near Central Station?

Riverside Drive is an ideal jobbing path alongside the Mississippi River.

Do you have a pool?

No, there is no outdoor or indoor pool.

How close are you to the Memphis International Airport?

We are 11 miles and approximately 20 minutes from the Memphis International Airport (Code: MEM).  

How much should transportation generally cost for Rideshare/Taxi from the Airport?

Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) is approximately $25 - $35 one way and Taxi is approximately $35 - $50 one way.

Do you have a Gift Shop on property?

Our on-site gift shop is located in the lobby, where you can buy the essentials that you possibly forgot at home, a last-minute gift pick-up and amenities that are in your guest rooms that you may want to indulge in.

Yes, we are located in the historic South Main Arts District where you can enjoy a number of local boutiques and one-of-a-kind restaurants

Does Central Station have restaurants on-site?

Yes, we are home to Bishop Memphis where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bishop also offers room service to hotel guests and to-go orders for local residents. Does Bishop have a dress code?

No, come as you are! But of course, shirts and shoes are required.

Do I need reservations Bishop?

Yes, our Chef offers a menu that is advantageous to all guests.

We have patio dining available for Eight & Sand.

Do you offer room service?

Yes, we offer Bishop’s menu in guestrooms as well.

Does Central Station have a bar?

Eight & Sand is our hotel lounge bar. It features an expansive vinyl record collection, all tied to Memphis. It also features a beautiful DJ booth named Elmertha where we play all Memphis connected music.

Are there restaurants within walking distance of Central Station?

Yes, there is a great variety of one of a kind restaurant’s and price points within walking distance throughout the South Main District. Food — Go South Main

How many guest rooms are at The Central Station Memphis?

The Central Station has 123 guest rooms featuring one king or two queen size beds.  

What kind of Suites does Central Station have?

Main Line Suite

The Main Line Suite features all the luxuries of our spacious king rooms, plus a separate living room area providing additional space to unwind and relax. You’ll feel right at home in the living room which features a second 50” HDTV, sleeper sofa and armchair giving you a great space to put your feet up after a day out in Memphis.

The LOFT

The Loft is stunning with its soaring 16-foot ceilings and oversized windows. Highlighted with a beautiful winding wrought-iron staircase leading from the main living room to the bedroom loft. The living room features industrial inspired soft furnishings which is a great place to unwind after a long day in Memphis. Kick back and really enjoy taking in the neighborhood views from the Loft; take in the street art underneath the bridge or peer over the tracks and Powerhouse from the bedroom, you’ll love this one-of-a-kind Loft

South Main Suite

The South Main Suite is The Central Station's largest suite and ideal for hosting intimate gatherings of your closest friends. You’ll love the elegant design and beautiful finishes in the suite, with a kitchenette, ample living space, and featuring a stunning dressing mirror to make sure your outfit is just right! The suite is accompanied with a cool Murphy Bed option along with an oversized bathroom featuring upgraded one-of-a kind finishes. An optional King Room is connected to the suite, so that you can sleep right next door. Do your rooms have balconies?

No, we have oversized windows original to the building.

What amenities are provided in the Guestrooms and Suites?

Our rooms have modern comforts that you would expect including:  49” LCD Televisions, in-room Keurig Coffee Makers, mini-refrigerators, Wi-Fi, desk, Steamers, Hair Dryer and Lit Make Up Mirrors and William Roam bathroom products.  Unique to the Central Station, each room also features an Egglestonworks speaker for you to tune in and enjoy the music playing on Elmertha in Eight & Sand.

Do you rooms have Shower or Bathtubs?

Our guestrooms mainly consist of walk-in showers with a small ledge / step into the shower.  We also have rooms with shower/tub combinations. In addition, some of our ADA rooms have Accessible Tubs and showers.

Do you rooms have safes?

There are safes available at the front desk. Please see a Guest Service Agent for assistance.

What kind of pillow are in your guestrooms?

Our pillows are made of down feather mix.  If you are allergic to feathers, please contact our team at 901-524-5247 and we can arrange for foam pillows in your guestroom prior to your arrival.   

Do your guest rooms have microwaves or refrigerators?

All rooms come equipped with mini-refrigerators. We do have a limited number of microwaves available on a first come-first-serve basis.

Do you have connecting rooms?

Yes, each one of our suites, with the exception of The Loft, have connecting rooms available. 

Do you have rooms that are Accessible?

Yes, we have a variety of rooms based on your needs for accessibility including roll-in showers, accessible tubs and rooms for the hearing impaired. 

Is Central Station pet friendly?

Yes, we welcome your entire family, including your pets!  Your $50 non-refundable deposit per pet includes a welcome treat bag, use of water/food bowls and a bed if needed.

Do you provide contactless check-in?

Yes, as a Hilton Honors member with the Hilton App you can e-check-in and use a Digital Key to access your room.

I unfortunately did not receive my confirmation email for my stay. What should I do?

Please contact The Central Station Memphis at 901-524-5247 and they can verify your upcoming stay with us and confirm your email address.  

Do you have on-site parking?

Yes, we have ample on-site self-parking which is $24.

On-site bus parking can be arranged for buses and oversized vehicles for $100.00 per day. Please contact us in advance to reserve this.

Do your guest rooms have work desks?

Our guest rooms are set-up with a flexible workspace which you can utilize for meals and workspace.  

Are cribs / pack n plays or roll-aways available?

The Central Station has cribs available.  Please call our guest service agent 901-524-5247 to make arrangements to have in your room prior to arrival. 

The Central Station does not have roll-away beds available.
